Description
This block of four 5-cent US postage stamps was issued on October 26, 1963, to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the establishment of free city mail delivery. The stamp features an image of a letter carrier delivering mail in the rain while holding an umbrella. A young boy and dog follow him and there is a city skyline in the background.
